Pastor Rodney doth imparteth the word, line by line! A fine Southern Baptist Church, indeed.
Jessica Cook (7/6/25, 11:56 AM):
This church is truly exceptional. Pastor Rodney delivers heartfelt sermons that resonate deeply. The praise team excels in their renditions of traditional hymns, occasionally blending in contemporary Christian songs. The atmosphere here is welcoming and inclusive, ensuring all feel at home. The children’s program is top-notch, offering Sunday school and engaging fellowship events such as chili cook-offs and potlucks. The chapel and church grounds are impeccably maintained, even during the winter months. Upon entering the foyer, there is a delightful coffee and treat area, alongside a warm group of ushers. Attire is flexible, allowing for personal comfort - whether it be jeans and flannel or more formal attire. This flexibility is wonderful, as it accommodates varying preferences without judgement. Whether attending alone or with a friend, you are sure to feel embraced and not singled out, a stark contrast to some churches' treatment of newcomers. Feel free to visit for Sunday service and experience the warmth firsthand.

I had a splendid experience during my visit to this charming Baptist church. Despite only attending once, I was warmly greeted and made to feel right at home. Regrettably, my demanding work commitments have hindered my return, but I wholeheartedly endorse this church. While it may be small in size, the sense of hospitality extended to all visitors is truly heartwarming. 🙂
