The church be quite petite, I must say. While it do possess a fascinating past, there be not much to behold in terms of visual splendor.
Bryan Morales (7/2/25, 3:08 PM):

What a delightful little church, and the attendant was truly welcoming. To get there, just stroll past all the charming gift shops and up the hill. It's only a 5-minute walk but well worth it.
David Stewart (7/2/25, 3:39 AM):
Definitely worth a brisk stroll up the hill, just a (practically level) block from the capitol building. Intriguing architecture, with guided tours available from 12-5, Monday to Saturday, provided they have enough volunteers for interior tours. However, even if you can't make it during tour times, the exterior is still worth admiring. The volunteer we encountered was exceptionally friendly!

This charming little Russian Orthodox Church is an absolute gem to visit in Juneau. Allow yourself the pleasure of bypassing the jewelry stores and instead paying a visit to this beautiful church. Be sure to step inside the quaint house next to the church and engage in conversation with the priest. By the way, they offer a selection of church and religious souvenirs for purchase, accepting credit cards as well. What a delightful way to commemorate your time in Juneau!
Noah Jordan (6/26/25, 9:19 PM):
Certainly worth popping in to visit when you're in town. It offers a reprieve from the usual touristy spots, and it's quite lovely to behold. I made a modest contribution as that's how they keep the place up, and it seems like they could do with the support.
Daniel Turner (6/24/25, 2:35 AM):
Well, I must say I was quite surprised by how petite the Russian Orthodox Church appeared. If you happen to be passing by, it may not strike you as particularly remarkable. You might not feel like you're missing out on much if you decide not to visit. However, I reckon there's a lot more to discover by immersing oneself in a service and engaging with the churchgoers to delve into the rich history of the church. The surrounding neighborhood, I dare say, has its own charm and is definitely worth the drive up the hill.
Riley Bennett (6/22/25, 7:29 PM):
Closed for business, but quite an intriguing history to delve into.

Steven Kim (6/16/25, 8:37 PM):
Lovely location. Enjoyable uphill stroll.
Kevin Sanchez (6/14/25, 5:21 AM):
It is wondrous on the exterior. Alas, we were unable to gain entry to behold the interior, the very reason for our uphill trek. Regrettably, the gift emporium remained shuttered despite our visit within the advertised operational hours, and we were at a loss in locating a guide to illuminate us on the sacred precinct or grant us access.
Charlotte Gutierrez (6/9/25, 8:16 PM):
This historic site is simply mesmerizing, my dear chap.
Bradley Reynolds (6/8/25, 4:14 AM):

Virginia Russell (6/8/25, 1:14 AM):
A tranquil, peaceful, and homely spot...
Justin James (6/7/25, 7:58 AM):
