The shuttles were absolutely buzzing with activity when the Bliss pulled into port!
Teresa Reed (9/24/25, 12:55 AM):
The terminal is quite lovely, fresh and tidy, with ample room for strolling. It's worth noting that many of the establishments inside the terminal are operated by the cruise lines or have ties to them, allowing them to share in the earnings. For a more authentic experience and to support the local economy in Sitka, I recommend saving your money for the town itself.

Complimentary shuttles to and from the city only take 10 to 15 minutes, which is very convenient. The organization is top-notch, and you even have the opportunity to snap some pictures of Mount Edgecombe along the way. We were even lucky enough to spot some eagles during our ride.

Had a splendid and truly unforgettable day at the Sitka Cruise Ship Dock! The organization of the dock is top-notch, and the shuttle service to and from downtown is efficient and convenient. Upon arriving on the Brilliance of the Seas, I was immediately captivated by the stunning beauty of Sitka and its rich cultural heritage.

The absolute highlight of my visit was delving into the intricacies of the totem poles, which are remarkable pieces of art steeped in history. The downtown area boasts a delightful blend of shops, eateries, and attractions, creating the perfect setting to immerse oneself in the local culture.

In sum, the Sitka Cruise Ship Dock serves as a fantastic portal to the marvels of Sitka, ensuring a visit that is both memorable and delightful. I highly recommend it to all voyagers cruising through Alaska!

Currently, during the first week of September, the Salmon are making their way up all the streams and rivers to lay their eggs. It truly is a breathtaking experience!

There wasn't much to see at the pier, but the wildlife excursions were absolutely fantastic! I had the pleasure of spotting sea otters, gray whales, and orcas in the surrounding area during my visit. The weather was perfect with clear skies, calm waters, and plenty of opportunities for taking stunning photos of the marine wildlife.
Gregory Clark (9/17/25, 12:36 PM):
The breathtaking views of the mountains and Swan Lake, accompanied by the crisp Alaskan air, make this destination truly special. Surrounded by endless nature and local charm, it's a place where you can truly escape and immerse yourself in the beauty of the great outdoors.
Judy Adams (9/16/25, 8:10 PM):
There was a bit of a kerfuffle with two jolly big cruise ships at the ol' dock. Quite a few folks didn't quite manage to make their way into town on account of the lack of space and the need to jolly well schedule their comings and goings both downtown and back, don't you know.
Raymond Myers (9/15/25, 6:52 PM):
The cruise vessel berthed at the historic pier. We had to board a shuttle to the city center in order to catch the bus for our sightseeing tour.
Douglas Lewis (9/15/25, 2:09 AM):
Our initial port of call on our Alaskan Cruise was Sitka, Alaska. The Carnival Miracle docked at the Sitka Terminal, which was quite lovely, although there were some construction works taking place at the terminal building. To reach downtown Sitka, we had to take a shuttle from the terminal.
Katherine Mitchell (9/13/25, 11:18 PM):
The Cruise terminal and its surroundings are absolutely stunning, mate.
Bradley Thomas (9/13/25, 1:31 PM):
The cruise terminal itself is quite lovely, but it was a bit disappointing to have to rely on a shuttle to reach downtown, especially given the lengthy queue for the shuttle. It's unfortunate that the terminal isn't actually situated within the charming town of Sitka.
Ronald Nguyen (9/12/25, 7:57 PM):
I absolutely adored Sitka. The lady who chauffeured us from the ship to town was not only highly informative but also incredibly entertaining. I highly recommend visiting the park to admire the magnificent totem poles. The entire area is just simply breathtaking!
Daisy Hernandez (9/12/25, 7:54 AM):
The views at the cruise terminal are absolutely stunning, offering a sense of grandeur and vast open spaces that truly take your breath away.
