During my stay at my son's place in Wasilla, his daughter and I went to the church services at this lovely establishment. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and inviting. Despite being a newcomer, I felt right at home among these kind-hearted individuals. Thank you.

I was quite taken aback by the number of physicians who prescribe amphetamine salts and opioids. It's alarming to see this prevalent culture within the LDS community.

A couple of weeks ago, missionaries paid a visit to a house we were house-sitting for some friends. We engaged in a pleasant conversation with them and agreed to touch base later on. Fast forward to a week or so later, when we returned home after a long day's work in Anchorage, only to spot a car parked on the road in front of our house at 8:30pm. Despite our recent arrival and mealtime, they proceeded to knock on our door, which we opted to ignore. After standing outside for a good 10 minutes, they eventually resorted to calling out to us.

To our surprise, upon arriving home tonight at 9:00pm, we noticed the same car parked outside once again, and not long after we had settled in, there they were at our doorstep. Curious about their persistent presence, I reached out to some of our neighbors and learned that they had been seen loitering near our home on several occasions. Frustrated by this intrusive behavior, I wasted no time in contacting them directly to express my discontent and firmly requested that they steer clear of our property. While my initial impression of their religion was not particularly favorable, I had initially been willing to keep an open mind and hear them out.

With any luck, they will heed my warning and respect our privacy. However, should their unwelcome visits persist, we will not hesitate to take further action.
Riley Thomas (6/17/25, 11:43 PM):
