I've been attending this church for four years now and I must say, I'm truly grateful that God led me to this place. Every Sunday, when I leave the sermon, I feel like I've learned something valuable - whether it's a lesson on what I need to improve in my life or a reminder of what I'm doing right. Pastor Mark is simply amazing, as are all the other pastors here. If you come to this church and still don't want Christ in your life, then I really don't know what else to say. God bless you all and thank you for everything.

I absolutley adored this church. I was introduced by my children's godfather, who served in Journey Kids. I attended for a period of 5 years and even had my family baptized here. However, when it came time for my children's godfather to take on a leadership role, he faced obstacles due to his sexual orientation. Despite dedicating 5 years of service to the church, he was informed that he could only continue working with Journey Kids if he vowed to never enter into a relationship. This left me feeling deeply disheartened as I believed this church was meant to be inclusive of all individuals. Instead, it revealed itself to be another judgmental institution that ostracizes those who are different.

Prior to this incident, I had already begun to distance myself from the church as I felt overwhelmed by the constant pressure to serve, join groups, and follow their prescribed path. The atmosphere that once felt welcoming and positive had transformed into something unsettling and focused solely on financial contributions. It seems that the emphasis has shifted from fostering genuine connections to prioritizing monetary donations. At their gatherings, there was a consistent push for financial support before, during, and after the services.

My heart aches as I reflect on my fond memories of this church. Regrettably, the current environment no longer resonates with me. It is a shadow of what it used to be, and has lost the authenticity that initially drew me in.

Discovering this church truly transformed my life. It's an incredible space for individuals exploring their faith journey and for seasoned believers looking to deepen their spiritual growth. The worship band is phenomenal, the sermons are highly relatable, and it's a wonderful environment to cultivate new friendships!
Kimberly Thomas (5/12/25, 2:44 PM):
I had a brilliant time at this church. The volunteers are ever so friendly, and they're doing a smashing job of keeping everything spick and span, all while following the COVID-19 guidelines. If you're after a church that truly worships Jesus, discusses real-life issues, and doesn't pass judgment on you, then this is the ideal spot for you!
Sandra Rivera (5/11/25, 11:29 PM):
I must say, I was quite disappointed when I attended church with a non-believer in search of Jesus, only to experience a worship service that lacked the fervor I was hoping for. It felt as though our momentum was dampened. In my pursuit of Jesus, I was met with references to Spider-Man, which seemed unnecessary as God does not require Marvel's assistance to connect with His people. The atmosphere felt tepid, reminiscent of the behaviors of Jezebel and the Pharisees. It all felt very worldly and indecisive. At one point, I thought I saw a glimmer of light, but it quickly faded, and then I had a vision of a massive serpent.
Paul Miller (5/11/25, 6:27 AM):
What a lovely experience and such powerful words! I recently went to my cousin's Baptism ceremony. It was truly amazing to witness God's awesome power and grace ✨️
Kelly Roberts (5/9/25, 6:24 PM):
Fantastic church! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the message really resonates with me.
Jeffrey Baker (5/8/25, 6:02 AM):
The Journey church is not a flawless establishment. And thank the Lord for that!!! Such perfection does not exist. The church of my upbringing always seemed to have all the answers and I never felt like I truly belonged. I am a flawed and imperfect individual, and here I found my place. From the very moment I stepped through the doors on Easter Sunday in 2015, I immediately felt a sense of security. It felt like home, like being among family. The relationships my loved ones and I have built over the past five years have been a true gift. Our church community has stood by us during some of our darkest days. The worship services are truly uplifting. Pastor Mark's sermons make you feel like, regardless of where you stand in your faith journey, you have a place here. They have instilled in us the belief from the start that our relationship with Jesus is personal and can be nurtured at our own pace. In the autumn of 2015, my spouse and I were baptized by Pastor Mark, and in the spring of 2016, I had the honor of baptizing our daughter. We became actively involved right away and have taken on various roles in service and leadership as a family. Now, all of us are dedicated followers of Jesus Christ. We eagerly anticipate where our walk with Jesus will lead us, especially now that our circumstances have changed, and how The Journey will continue to impact lives in our community, Journey City!! Oh, and let me tell you, the Strength In Recovery group on Wednesday nights is absolutely incredible!!!!!🎚🙏💪

Nicole Sullivan (4/22/25, 6:51 PM):
I've been attending this church for many years now. Pastor Mark has a unique way of connecting with the congregation and delivering a heartfelt, relevant message each week. The growth of this church has been incredible, and I am grateful to be a part of it. Here at The Journey, you are encouraged to express your true self and experience a sense of belonging and acceptance.
Bruce White (4/21/25, 11:53 PM):
I've been going to this church for a couple of years now. When covid came, we switched to watching the online services. It's been a fantastic experience each time. Everyone is welcome just as they are. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the Pastor does a great job of connecting the scripture to everyday life with a touch of humor! It's a warm and inviting place for anyone looking for a new church or exploring a relationship with Jesus for the first time.
Bobby Brooks (4/20/25, 10:44 PM):
Fantastic church, wonderful folks. Incredibly inviting atmosphere. The sermons are exceptionally crafted and resonate directly with everyday experiences. I thoroughly enjoy attending Journey and am grateful to be a member of Third Church.
Walter Campbell (4/20/25, 8:14 PM):
I absolutely adore the church, don't I?
Christian Robinson (4/20/25, 12:03 PM):
Journey has been a transformative experience for me. Stepping into the church feels like stepping into a warm and welcoming family. Pastor Mark is truly remarkable, and it's hard to find adequate words to express just how wonderful he is. His sermons feel incredibly personal, almost as if he's speaking directly to your own life experiences, drawing lessons from the Bible to teach and inspire us. If you're feeling called to dedicate yourself to God, I highly recommend visiting Journey - your life will undoubtedly be changed for the better.
Shirley Edwards (4/20/25, 6:03 AM):
This church is absolutely phenomenal! It has had a profound impact on my life and I am completely in awe of everything it has to offer. I cannot express enough how much I adore this church!
Bradley Robinson (4/18/25, 7:10 PM):
Incredible and inviting church. The teachings are rooted in the Bible, focusing on Jesus as the second person of God who took on human form, lived a life without sin, was persecuted, crucified, died, buried, resurrected, and will return to judge the living and the dead. They embrace individuals just as they are and support them in drawing closer to Jesus and overcoming the grip of their sins. The small groups are fantastic for navigating the spiritual journey. There are abundant opportunities to volunteer and serve both the community and the church. The pastors are genuine and easy to approach, and the volunteers are full of compassion and assistance. A wonderful place to commence or strengthen one's relationship with Jesus.
