This community is simply marvellous. The rector, Brad, delivers absolutely captivating sermons. My little ones have spent their formative years within the congregation, not to mention Sunday School and youth group. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and welcoming. The music is truly exceptional as well! Additionally, there is a superb preschool on site, where my youngest has enjoyed the 2s, 3s, Pre-K, and kindergarten programs.
Martha Robinson (5/22/25, 12:00 AM):
I attended the Easter service. It was a delightful service. There were additional musicians for the hymns, and everything in the program was just right. The congregation was very welcoming and friendly.

My spouse and I began attending this church approximately four years ago, and we have found it to be a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive community. Our first introduction to the church was during their annual craft fair, a tradition that has been celebrated for over five decades. This fair showcases a variety of holiday gifts and locally crafted items, providing a platform for talented artisans in the area.

One aspect that truly sets this church apart is its commitment to numerous outreach programs. They actively support organizations such as the Claymont Community Center, Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans, and The United Thank Offering, among others. Additionally, they house an exceptional preschool on their premises.

Sunday services are held at 8:00 and 10:15 am, and we would be delighted if you could join us for a service.

Jose Roberts (5/12/25, 12:41 PM):
I do attend this church. It's the finest community I could have hoped to find. I serve at the Altar and assist the Vicar. The Vicar is splendid and amiable. Upon your initial encounter with him, you are bound to take a liking to him straight away. Saint David's is truly unparalleled, and I wouldn't trade it for any other church.
Catherine Powell (5/8/25, 8:16 PM):
This church is truly exceptional. The parishioners are delightful, and Father Brad is simply splendid.
Randy Powell (5/7/25, 2:52 PM):
I was invited to a birthday and then a baby shower at this delightful venue. It's a charming spot to hire for gatherings, with a reasonable price tag. The little ones can frolic outdoors on the playground while adults mingle inside. You bring your own refreshments, and the church provides tables and chairs. It's a DIY setup, but the space is yours to transform, and you tidy up before you depart. A lovely option for hosting special events!
Angela Morales (5/5/25, 11:25 PM):
I attended this place for preschool. It's been nearly 15 years, so my memories are a bit fuzzy, but I would certainly suggest enrolling your little ones here. Rest in Peace, Chaplain Pat.
Jessica Morales (5/4/25, 6:03 AM):
Truly a serene and sacred sanctuary!
Jeffrey Collins (5/1/25, 6:23 PM):
The vicar is quite delightful, engaging, and captivating. He delivers his sermons holding the proverbial newspaper in one hand and the Bible in the other. 🙂 The congregation is exceedingly warm and welcoming. The church is actively involved in various community outreach initiatives, offering ample opportunities for individuals to engage at their preferred level of involvement. …
Johnny Cooper (5/1/25, 11:38 AM):
I consider myself quite lucky to have two grandkids enrolled in the pre-school program at St. David's! The children, their parents, and us grandparents are truly enjoying the experience. I would wholeheartedly endorse it to anyone looking for a quality educational institution.
