Matthew Ramos (8/18/25, 8:22 AM):
The Journey is truly outstanding. The message is consistently relevant, regardless of where one finds themselves in life. Pastor Mark is remarkable, witty, and incredibly relatable; whether you are a first-time churchgoer or a seasoned attendee. The Saturday services and early Sunday gatherings tend to be less crowded and offer a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a first-time experience. Their children's church is exceptionally engaging as well. There is no pressure to conform to a particular set of beliefs if you are unsure of your own. You won't find any judgmental individuals casting hypocritical looks from their seats; just genuine, imperfect individuals. Everyone is welcome, with no need for formal attire or a certain appearance, and there is no room for judgment. Everyone at The Journey is extremely kind, considerate, and accepting of others. The band delivers a fantastic performance that will keep you engaged. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
Denise Brooks (8/18/25, 7:59 AM):
Absolutely splendid place! Visited once, solo, 2.5 years back...thought I’d give it a go...haha and now I can’t resist going. Pastor Mark, oh he’s a gem, truly impacts countless lives. His humor, relatability, and knack for simplifying the teachings of the Lord are unmatched. The community exudes warmth and friendliness with every smile.

Absolutely love the inviting vibe at The Journey! Pastor Mark Johnston delivers a truly inspiring biblical message every time, resonating with us all in our day-to-day. It caters well to all age groups, from young adults to singles, couples, families, and seniors too. Fantastic programs to suit everyone's schedule and interests, whether you're fully engaged or just dipping your toes in. It's indeed a "Genuine Church for Genuine Folks."

I am so grateful to have discovered The Journey. As soon as you step foot into the church, you are embraced with a sense of warmth and hospitality. The people here are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Eugene Hernandez (8/2/25, 11:59 PM):
I 'ave mixed feelings about this place. I was brought up in the traditional Roman Catholic faith and attended twelve years of Catholic school. This 'ere church is a pleasant change from the usual mass. I appreciate the breakin' of institutional norms and the openness to all types of Christianity. The ambience is lovely and the service is carried out well.

However, I 'ave reservations about the teachings and purpose of this church. Granted, I've only been to one service, but it seems like this place exists to garner likes on Facebook or comments on Twitter. The substance of the sermon missed the mark for me. They selected a theme for the homily and connected everything back to that theme, overlookin' important lessons. Don't rely solely on this review to inform your faith practice. The best way to discern is to experience it yerself - for faith is a personal journey.
Samantha Thompson (8/2/25, 5:25 PM):
I had a splendid time at the church and was warmly greeted by everyone. The service was top-notch and the people were just lovely. Thank you so much!
Grace Price (7/31/25, 2:44 AM):
This church not only delivers an incredible message every weekend and features talented musicians, but it also offers the warmest welcome I have ever encountered. Every Sunday, I eagerly anticipate attending the service. I start off with a delightful cup of coffee, receive a comforting hug from Barbara, feel rejuvenated after worship, and leave feeling prepared for the week ahead. I cherish this spiritual journey immensely.
Austin Kim (7/29/25, 2:07 PM):
I cannot recommend The Journey enough! A dear friend introduced me to this church over a year ago, and I have been attending ever since. The Journey is a vibrant, uplifting, and forward-thinking congregation. It truly is an incredible experience! I invite you to come and witness it for yourself!
Nancy Wilson (7/29/25, 7:45 AM):
Journey is a church for everyone who loves or seeks to discover more about Jesus. It embraces all with open arms and offers engaging, contemporary music that stirs the soul.
Kyle Gutierrez (7/27/25, 3:51 PM):
I've been going to The Journey since 2019. I really enjoy the Saturday evening service. The whole church radiates the love of Christ. They are so welcoming and truly embody the spirit of Jesus. The pastors are incredibly relatable and deliver powerful messages. Pastor Mark's teaching is particularly fantastic. His delivery of the Word is clear and impactful, making it accessible to all. A big thank you to the Journey family for everything you do for me and the community.
Hannah Jones (7/27/25, 12:37 AM):
I must say, our experience at this church was quite disappointing. My spouse and I decided to attend the King and Queen prom for the first time, and it was a rather unpleasant affair. Upon arrival, there seemed to be a misunderstanding as some individuals mistook me for my husband's companion, when in fact we had arrived together as a couple. To make matters worse, no one bothered to extend a welcoming gesture or introduce themselves to me. I was taken aback when one individual made disparaging remarks about my appearance, suggesting that I did not belong there. The stares and whispers from other attendees only added to our discomfort. Despite being invited by friends, we left feeling distinctly out of place and have no intention of returning.
