Jeremiah 2:27-28 speaks volumes about the misplaced worship of the people. Turning to wood and stone, calling them father and creator, yet seeking their salvation when in need. Where are these gods now when trouble strikes? Judah, with its many gods in every town, must reflect on who truly deserves their worship.

We are designed to worship, but who truly captures our devotion? Our spending habits and time allocation often reveal our true idols. Is it entertainment, success, technology, or even food that we elevate above all else? These can easily become our modern-day forbidden fruits, distracting us from a genuine relationship with God. It is vital to assess how we utilize these tools and gifts, ensuring they do not become substitutes for Christ in our lives.

Remember, the internet cannot save you from your sins, nor do earthly credentials grant you grace. Worship Christ alone, for He is the only one worthy of our adoration. Let us not fall prey to lukewarm idolatry, but instead surrender our hearts completely to Jesus, allowing Him to work through us for His glory.

I must say, I am absolutely thrilled with Word of Life Christian Center! My husband and I relocated to Delaware in March 2018, and after an extensive search for a church, we instantly felt at home the moment worship began at Word of Life. We are truly inspired by our Pastor's vision and feel incredibly privileged to be part of the work that God is currently doing and will undoubtedly continue to do through this wonderful ministry. Praise be to God!

First off, it's an opportunity to strengthen your relationship with the Lord and fellow churchgoers. One thing that truly impresses me about WOL is the diverse congregation, hailing from different nations and spanning all ages. It's like getting a glimpse of what heaven will be like, y'know?

You come expecting worship, singing, warmth, and humility - and you receive it. The congregation is a diverse mix of demographics, but all united in prioritizing God. This church truly feels like God's dwelling place, where His love is tangibly felt and genuinely shared.

I must say, the profoundness of the message delivered every time I attend never fails to astonish me. Pastor Chris consistently leaves me deeply moved to prayer. May God continue to bless this wonderful community!

This was me first time attending this church. A dear friend brought me along. The Pastor delivered a powerful message. The praise and worship service was uplifting. From the moment we stepped out of our car, my friend and I were warmly welcomed. It was a diverse congregation. I am looking forward to visiting this church again.

I joined this community in August 2024 and I can truly say that I have found my new spiritual home. The teachings of God's Word, the boundless love of God, and the presence of the Holy Spirit are truly felt here. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is true freedom and liberation in the name of Jesus!
